A judge recently announced that the fast-food chain Subway is at the risk of being sued for falsely misleading its customers into saying that their tuna sandwiches is 100% tuna as labeled from all sectors. In other words, false advertisement. One customer reported that the main ingredient tuna is either partial or incredibly lacking in their sandwiches, and instead "contains other fish species, animal products, and miscellaneous products."
This report came when a marine biologist tested the product and the reports were conclusive. Now that I got the news report out of my head now is time for me to give my social commentary. I can't say this enough. Of course, the fast-food chain's tuna sandwich isn't 100% tuna.
Tuna sandwiches are my favorite sandwiches of all time. It's been my favorite since the day I was born. I can eat as many different sandwiches as I want, but a tuna sandwich will forever be at the top of my list. I love it so much, that I taught myself how to make it. The recipe is simple. Even though I hate mayonnaise, I tolerate it because it's one of the ingredients.
I didn't at first taste catch that there were other things inside the sandwich when I first ordered from Subway. But after a few years and various changes in taste buds, that's how I discovered there are more than just one species of fish inside their sandwiches. If you're a foodie, it doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure that out. But here's what problems.
I found out about this when I was 15 years old. That's half my current age.
Why in the world are people figuring this out now? Are they blind or just kept their mouths shut until the time was right? Society sometimes really disappoints me with how late it takes them to pick up on the obvious. So these lawsuits and stuff don't matter to me. I knew this situation for a long time. So for the rest of you people who are figuring this out now.
WAKE UP!
