Log #23 : Restaurants With No Restrooms? What The Hell?!

I went to this casual restaurant one day with a few acquaintances of mine. We dined out over buffalo wings and beer. Since we haven't seen each other in quite a while, it was good to catch and talk about our lives. I had no idea how hungry I was until I looked at my plate. So I ate everything off of that plate as if it was the last thing I was going to eat before they sent me to the electric chair.

By the end of my meal, I was ready to go. It was in that moment I realized there were more liquid and solids in my stomach. So you know what that meant? It was time to hit the facilities. As I made my way back, I had no idea what I was about to discover.

I went over to the waiter and asked "Excuse me? Do you know where I can find the restroom?"

The waiter immediately responded "I'm sorry Mr. but this restaurant doesn't have the facilities."

GASP! Of all the illogical things to ever enter my ears, this was immediately added to my mental sense of "WHAT THE HELL?!"

How in the world are you a restaurant and yet you don't have any restrooms? That doesn't make any sense. It's a version of the common error of physics. I don't know anyone that would agree to something like this. I'm not someone that owns a restaurant, but I know for sure that if I were to build one right now, I'm sure the #1 thing I would do when I'm reading the blueprints is to tell them where exactly are the restrooms going to be built and placed.

Log #22: I Propose A 'Big Mouth' Spin-Off Prequel About The Early Years of Judd Birch

I'm sure I'm not the only one who feels the same way. If you're a big fan of the Netflix original series "Big Mouth" like I am, then thoughts like was sure to came up. This is a character than a walking symbol of mystery. You want to know what his early years were like and how he became this person we grew up to love.

That character's name is Judd Birch

Judd Birch is the dark yet caring older brother of Nick and Leah Birch, and the son of Diane and Elliot Birch. He likes to rebel and follows his own path. He causes chaos no matter where he goes. He experiments with the most unlikely of things like training racoons to terrorize his brother, and later on starting a professional catering business.

He once poked holes in tire tracks from the cars of the attendees of his younger sister's house parties. He does random graffiti. He hangs out in the most random of places other than hanging out with his own path. In my personal opinion, I think he truly fits the definition of "rebel with a cause."

It's the mysterious nature of this character that makes you make you want to more about him. So it makes you wonder? Why don't we know much about Judd's past?

Judd is the first born of the Birch family. So there are many stories that can be created revolving around the life of this teenager. They can write about his childhood and how he became the rebel that he is. They can write about how his minds works, which appears to be a combination of rebellion, philosophy, nonconforming, etc.

One important storyline they can definitely detail is about his personal relationship with his younger brother Nick Birch. Despite all of the name calling and the constant avoidance of showing PDA in a big brother little brother relationship, it's clear that Judd loves Nick. While causing rebellion no matter where he goes, he takes a time from his busy life to make sure his little brother is alright. He helps him out in his own crazy, but the average viewer understands what he's doing. It would be interesting to see how he reacted when he saw Nick as a baby, discovering that he now became a big brother.

In conclusion, I propose that the creators of Big Mouth and Human Resources can browse around this idea. I don't know if they would go ahead with idea like this. I just wish they would just think about the idea that maybe there is an idea for another spin-off. A spin-off that revolves around a character that we all love because he is a shadow of mystery. We lets see more of the life of Judd Birch.
